Wood instruments move with seasonal humidity. Keep your guitar stable year-round by monitoring room humidity and using case humidification when needed.
- Target environment: 45% to 55% relative humidity
- Below 40% RH: risk of cracks, fret sprout, and sinking tops
- Above 60% RH: risk of swelling, action changes, and finish stress
